Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description & Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach IB/A-level/IGCSE Mathematics or Science (AA and AI, SL and HL levels) to students in international schools
- Develop and update engaging lesson materials aligned with the respective syllabus
- Guide students in preparing for exams and completing IB Internal Assessments (IA)
- Participate in academic planning and teaching team discussions
- Provide content input to math-related posts, study tips, or highlights of student achievements
- Attend teacher meetings and contribute to teaching quality improvement
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mathematics, Science, Engineering or a related field
- Strong command of English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is ideal
- Candidates must be capable of teaching at least one (or a combination) of the following subjects: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, or Environmental Systems and Societies (ESS).
- Prior experience teaching international curriculum is preferred
- IB Diploma or International A level graduates with a strong background are highly encouraged to apply
- Responsible, patient, and able to communicate effectively with students
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with online teaching tools and platforms.
- Experience in preparing students for university admissions, personal statements, or scholarship applications.
