Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO)

Roles & Responsibilities

• $5,500 - $7,500
• Mon to Sat (2 Saturday off per month, 8am to 5pm)
• A reputable Grade A1 main contractor with 33+ years of experience, specializing in large-scale infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s Safety Programme
• Ensure all work activities and practices are carried out in compliance with company safety policies and the WSH Act.
• Provide guidance on Work Plans, Risk Assessments, and Safe Work Procedures.
• Identify potential safety issues and recommend effective solutions and corrective measures.
• Lead and guide colleagues in maintaining a strong safety culture within the workplace.
• Maintain and compile all relevant safety reports and records, and conduct daily workplace safety inspections.
• Prepare and submit weekly safety reports in accordance with management and client requirements.
• Participate in the implementation, maintenance, and auditing of OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 management systems.

Requirements

• Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) with the Ministry of Manpower, Singapore
• Strong knowledge of WSHE-related legislation and regulations, including the WSH Act and environmental standards
