Roles & Responsibilities

Salary: Up to $4,125 per month
Location: Mediapolis, One-North
Working Arrangement: Monday to Friday, office hours
Duration: 1 year, subject for extension
Govt Project Exposure, Entry level welcome to apply - OJT provided

Job Summary

Join a public-sector project. You will support maritime security audits, ensure port facilities meet international security standards and coordinate with port operators, shipping companies and government agencies.

This role offers valuable exposure to maritime regulation, port operations, regional security matters and the use of technology to strengthen port security.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance and licensing audits at port and terminal facilities
• Review security measures and follow up on areas requiring improvement
• Coordinate with port operators, shipping companies and national security agencies
• Support regional efforts to prevent piracy and sea robbery
• Explore the use of technology to identify unusual activities and improve operational efficiency
• Assist with the administration of regional ferry service operations
• Prepare reports, briefings and other relevant documentation
• Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Degree in Maritime Studies, Maritime Business, Marine Engineering, Nautical Studies, Port and Shipping Management or a related discipline
• Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills
• Able to present issues and recommendations clearly
• Singaporean only.
