Roles & Responsibilities
JOB SUMMARY
DJ Engineering & ConstructionPte Ltd is seeking an experienced Resident Technical Officer (RTO) – Civil tosupport site execution and technical coordination in Singapore. The positionrequires RTO certification together with HDB and LTA project experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor civil and structural worksat site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and projectrequirements.
• Carry out regular site inspectionsand report workmanship, progress and technical issues.
• Check that construction activitiesfollow approved method statements, drawings and relevant project requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors,subcontractors, consultants, engineers and project management teams on sitematters.
• Review site conditions and identifydiscrepancies between drawings and actual construction.
• Record observations, siteinstructions, defects, progress and outstanding technical matters.
• Assist with inspection, testing andquality-control activities for civil works.
• Follow up on rectification ofdefects and non-conforming works.
• Support documentation, reports,inspection records and project correspondence.
• Monitor work progress and escalatetechnical or quality issues promptly.
REQUIREMENTS
• RTO certification is required.
• HDB project experience is required.
• LTA project experience is required.
• Relevant civil engineering orconstruction qualification is preferred.
• Strong understanding of civilconstruction drawings, specifications and site processes.
• Ability to conduct site inspectionsand communicate technical observations clearly.
• Good coordination and reportingskills.
• Strong attention to safety, qualityand workmanship.
• Candidates must be willing to workin Singapore
