Quantity Surveyor - Interior Fit-Out / Builder’s Works & M&E

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team and support the commercial management of corporate office interior fit-out projects.

Candidates with experience in Builder’s Works / Interior Fit-Out, M&E, or both are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantities, BQs, cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Obtain, evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Manage project costs, budgets and commercial documentation.
• Evaluate progress claims and variation orders.
• Handle subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
• Carry out quantity take-offs and re-measurements.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Designers, M&E teams and subcontractors.
• Support the project team on commercial and contractual matters.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, Construction or a related discipline.
• Min 5–8 years of relevant QS experience, preferably in interior fit-out, renovation, design & build or M&E.
• Strong experience in either Builder’s Works / Interior Fit-Out or M&E.
• Good understanding of tendering, costing, measurement, progress claims, variations and final accounts.
• Good negotiation, communication and coordination skills.
• Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Experience in corporate office or commercial interior fit-out projects will be highly advantageous.

Candidates with experience in both Builder’s Works and M&E will have an added advantage.
