6 Months Contract Technologist (Diary) - HSN

Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and you will be deployed to:

Salary: $3,300 - $4,000

Working hours: Monday - Friday (office hours)

Location: West

Job Responsibilities:

Product Development & Innovation

• Conduct product development activities in laboratory and pilot plant environments, with a focus on dairy and beverage applications
• Support formulation development, process optimization, troubleshooting, and application testing
• Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and project activities
• Prepare technical reports and application documentation

Technical & Commercial Support

• Provide technical support to Marketing, Technical Service, Sales, and Operations teams
• Support customer projects through the development and evaluation of application prototypes
• Assist with technical presentations, seminars, and training activities
• Troubleshoot formulation and processing challenges

Laboratory & Pilot Plant Management

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment
• Manage laboratory ingredients, materials, equipment, and samples
• Maintain and organize the ingredient library, ensuring proper labelling, storage, and tracking
• Perform routine maintenance and basic upkeep of laboratory and pilot plant equipment
• Comply with all EHS&S policies, procedures, and safe work practices
• Participate in safety initiatives and continuous improvement activities

Job Responsibilities:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related discipline
• 2–3 years of experience in food product development, applications, or food manufacturing
• Dairy experience is highly preferred.
