Senior Quantity Surveyor

Roles & Responsibilities

JD:

• Manage quantity surveying and commercial activities for EPC construction projects from pre-contract to project completion.

• Prepare and review cost estimates, budgets, tender documents, BOQ and subcontract packages.

• Handle subcontractor tendering, evaluation, negotiation, award and contract administration.

• Prepare and assess progress claims, variation orders (VO), claims and final accounts.

• Monitor project costs, commitments, cash flow and cost forecasts, and provide regular commercial reports to management.

• Identify contractual and commercial risks and support the project team in claim and variation management.

• Review subcontractor/supplier claims and ensure payments are in accordance with contractual terms and actual work progress.

• Liaise with Client, Consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams on contractual and commercial matters.

• Support project close-out, including settlement of variations, claims and final accounts.

Requirements:

• Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying, Building, Civil Engineer, Construction Management or related discipline.

• Have at least 3 years of related working experience with a Main Contractor or QS Consultancy.

• Good knowledge of cost control, subcontract administration, progress claims, variation orders, claims and final accounts.

• Experience in large-scale infrastructure, industrial, Oil & Gas, building or EPC projects will be an advantage.

• Strong commercial awareness, negotiation, analytical and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with project, engineering, procurement and construction teams.
