DSRB Analyst (8 Months Contract) - HSN

Roles & Responsibilities

We are hiring under Recruit Express headcount and you will be deployed to:

Location: Novena
Salary: $4,000 – $5,000

Job Responsibilities

Ethics Policy Management

• Assist the Manager in preparing, reviewing and updating research ethics guidelines, policies and SOPs.
• Provide secretariat support to the NHG Research Ethics Committee (REC), where required.
• Prepare detailed and accurate meeting minutes to document the Board’s deliberations.

Ethics Review & Approval

• Screen and review research applications and related correspondence.
• Ensure research submissions are processed accurately, efficiently and within the required timelines.
• Support the review board’s meeting processes, including agenda preparation, quorum checks, minutes and follow-up actions.
• Liaise with Investigators, Sponsors, review board members and regulatory authorities on ethics review matters.
• Provide guidance to researchers and Investigators on DSRB policies, procedures and forms.

Quality & Process Improvement

• Participate in projects to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the ethics review and approval process.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and quality-related activities.

Database & Reporting

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and databases of research ethics applications.
• Assist in preparing DSRB-related reports and data analysis.

Administrative & Operational Support

• Support cross-coverage for other DSRB Domains when required.
• Provide secretariat support for ethics conferences and programmes.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Science, Life Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy or Health Sciences.
• Relevant experience in healthcare, research or related fields will be an advantage.
• Basic understanding of research ethics policies and local regulations.
• Knowledge of quality and process improvement approaches is preferred.
• Strong organizational, project management, writing and communication skills.
• Data analytical skills will be an advantage.
• Candidates with relevant degrees in Life Sciences or Allied Health are encouraged to apply.
