The Skillvantage Hub is building a curated bench of top-tier drama educators to deliver Co-Curricular Activity (CCA) and enrichment programmes in mainstream Singapore schools and others. If you're passionate about developing young performers and want consistent, well-paid freelance assignments without the hustle of chasing your own contracts, we'd love to hear from you.

About the Roster

We work directly with schools across Singapore to place vetted, MOE-registered drama practitioners into CCA and enrichment slots each term. As a roster member, you get matched to assignments that fit your specialisation, schedule, and preferred zone — we handle the admin, you focus on the craft.

What You'll Do

• Plan and deliver engaging drama CCA/enrichment sessions for primary and/or secondary students
• Design age-appropriate curricula aligned to MOE's Visual & Performing Arts (Drama) reference guides
• Prepare students for showcases, drama festivals, or school productions where applicable
• Provide progress updates and light documentation to the Teacher-in-Charge
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and disciplined learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Valid MOE Instructor Registration under CCA/Performing Arts (Drama) — or eligible and willing to register before placement. Any of the following specialisations are welcome:
• Speech & Drama
• Musical Theatre
• Playwright & Production
• Enrichment (Theatre, Filmmaking, or Story Creation)
• Proven experience teaching or directing drama with school-aged students (CCA, enrichment, or theatre-in-education settings)
• Strong classroom management and the ability to engage students across a range of confidence levels
• A qualification or professional background in theatre, drama education, or performing arts (formal degree not mandatory if experience is strong)
• Reliable, professional, and comfortable working across different school cultures
• Clean background check / suitable for working with minors

Assignment Details

• Locations: Islandwide, Singapore
• Engagement type: Freelance, term-based (Term 1 2027 intake now open)
• Commitment: Typically 1–2 sessions/week per school placement
