*URGENT* Staff Nurse (Locum/Perm) #HRY
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Description
We are looking for a qualified Staff Nurse to provide quality nursing care and support daily clinical operations at the medical centre. The successful candidate should be confident in performing venipuncture and be comfortable providing coverage at other assigned locations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and support to patients at the medical centre.
- Perform venipuncture and blood-taking procedures.
- Assist doctors during consultations and medical procedures.
- Perform nursing procedures and treatment room duties as required.
- Monitor patients' conditions and provide appropriate nursing care.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments where required.
- Maintain accurate nursing records and patient documentation.
- Ensure proper infection control and patient safety standards are maintained.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operations of the clinic.
- Provide nursing coverage at other locations when required.
- Perform other ad-hoc nursing duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
- Registered with the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Valid Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Must be competent and confident in venipuncture / blood-taking.
- Prior clinic or outpatient nursing experience is preferred.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working at different locations when required.
