Innovation & New Product Development Intern

We are looking for a curious and highly motivated Innovation & New Product Development Intern to support the team in exploring and developing new products and solutions with a particular focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI) AI-enabled hardware automation and emerging technologies.

The intern will gain hands-on exposure to the full innovation journey from researching new technologies and identifying business opportunities to developing concepts supporting prototypes and evaluating potential commercial applications.

This is an ideal opportunity for a student who is passionate about technology AI product development and entrepreneurship and wants to understand how an idea can be transformed into a real-world product.

Key Responsibilities

1. Technology & Market Research

• Research emerging technologies particularly in AI generative AI machine learning robotics IoT and AI hardware.
• Track developments in AI products hardware and emerging technology markets.
• Research competitors startups and innovative products.
• Identify potential technologies that could address business or customer needs.
• Prepare research findings market summaries and presentations for management.

2. New Product Development

• Support the team in developing new product ideas and concepts.
• Assist with product research requirements gathering and feasibility assessments.
• Help develop product concepts user journeys and basic product specifications.
• Participate in brainstorming and innovation sessions.
• Support the development of proof-of-concepts (POCs) prototypes and MVPs.

3. AI & AI Hardware Projects

• Explore practical applications of AI across different industries and business processes.
• Research AI-powered products and solutions available in the market.
• Assist in evaluating AI-enabled hardware IoT devices sensors edge devices and smart equipment.
• Support testing and evaluation of new AI tools technologies and hardware.
• Document findings performance and potential use cases.

Qualifications :

• Strong interest in AI technology product development and innovation.
• Curious and willing to learn new technologies independently.
• Good research analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable working with new and unfamiliar technologies.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Basic knowledge of AI programming data analytics or product development is advantageous but not essential.
