Airfreight Operations Executive
Roles & Responsibilities
A German-founded global logistics company in specialised cargo logistics, in search for Airfreight Operations Executive to join their Singapore team.
The Role
This is a hands-on airfreight operations position covering the full shipment lifecycle; booking cargo space with airlines, preparing documentation, and coordinating with all parties to ensure timely, compliant delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Book and confirm air cargo space with airlines/consolidators for import and export shipments
- Prepare and process shipping documents.
- Coordinate with warehouses, hauliers, and airline handling agents on pickup, packing, and delivery schedules
- Track shipments end-to-end and keep customers updated on status
- Liaise with overseas offices/agents for smooth shipment handovers.
- Handle special cargo where required (temperature-controlled, express/urgent, dangerous goods documentation)
- Check vendor invoices and prepare customer billing.
- Manage customer queries and resolve operational issues.
Requirements.
- Experience in air freight forwarding/operations preferred.
- Detail-oriented, deadline-driven, comfortable juggling multiple shipments at once
- Strong stakeholder communication, daily coordination with airlines, agents, and customers
- Proficient in MS Office; freight/forwarding system experience an advantage.
- Able to start immediately.
