Job Summary

Healthtinity Yoga & Therapy seeks a passionate Yoga Instructor to lead safe, engaging group classes, support wellness programs, and foster an inclusive environment that promotes health and transformation.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, engaging, and well-structured group yoga classes that accommodate diverse participant abilities
• Provide tailored modifications and progressions to support participants’ varying skill levels and physical needs
• Monitor and correct alignment and movement quality during classes to ensure participant safety and effectiveness
• Design and prepare class sequences aligned with class type and participant level to optimize learning and engagement
• Foster a professional, welcoming, and inclusive studio environment that encourages participant growth
• Arrive punctually and prepare thoroughly before each scheduled class to ensure smooth delivery
• Communicate clearly and professionally with members and studio team to enhance participant experience
• Support studio workshops, programs, and events by contributing expertise and assisting with execution
• Adhere strictly to Healthtinity’s teaching, safety, and operational standards to maintain quality and compliance

Required competencies and certifications

• Recognised Yoga Teacher Training certification (minimum 200-hour certification preferred)
• Strong knowledge of yoga postures, alignment principles, and safe movement techniques
• Proven ability to confidently lead and manage group yoga classes
• Effective communication and demonstration skills to guide participants clearly
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professionalism in a teaching environment
• Capability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Prior teaching experience in yoga instruction
• Additional training in yoga therapy, rehabilitation, mobility, anatomy, or related disciplines

Other Information

Working Arrangement

• Classes may be scheduled on weekdays, evenings, weekends, and public holidays based on studio needs and instructor availability

Compensation

• Salary / Class Rate: From $40

Location

• Healthtinity Yoga & Therapy, Upper Thomson, Singapore
