RTO, Architecture (MRT Project)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, specifications and design changes, and coordinate with the Architectural Consultant, design team, Contractor and stakeholders on related matters
• Monitor and supervise architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and contractual/authority requirements
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor workmanship, materials and construction quality, including follow-up on Inspection Requests, submissions, shop drawings, samples and mock-ups
• Monitor and follow up on defects, non-conforming works and rectification, as well as architectural RFIs, technical queries and site issues
• Monitor architectural interfaces with structural, M&E, civil and other specialist works, and highlight delays, coordination issues and site constraints
• Provide regular progress updates to the relevant authority/client team and attend site/progress meetings to report on architectural works and outstanding matters
• Assist in monitoring testing, completion, defects rectification and handover of architectural works, and maintain proper records of inspections, submissions and site observations

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Architectural or related discipline, RTO registration required
• Minimum 3 years’ of relevant experience, MRT project experience required
• Able to lead the different parties to ensure smooth progress of works, high quality standards and minimal defects.
