HSE Executive (WSH) – $3,500–$4,500 | West

Roles & Responsibilities

• Salary: $3500 - $4500
• Working location: West Area (Penjuru)
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am to 5.30pm
• Company Transport Provided (Jurong East)
• Well Established Company

Responsibilities:

• Maintain effective HSE management systems to ensure compliance with applicable HSE legislation, company requirements, and established standards.
• Maintain the Company’s approved risk assessment processes to ensure that generic and site-specific risks are identified, assessed, and adequately controlled.
• Develop, implement, and maintain an HSE Risk Register that identifies significant HSE risks arising from business activities, together with the measures required to eliminate or reduce these risks to an acceptable level.
• Maintain effective monitoring systems to evaluate progress towards the achievement of HSE objectives and targets, compliance with legislative requirements and group/divisional requirements, and the overall effectiveness of the HSE management system.
• Maintain monitoring and reporting systems to ensure that accidents, incidents, and work-related ill-health cases are reported, investigated, and followed up in accordance with group and local requirements.
• Assist in the planning, preparation, conduct, and reporting of internal and external HSE audits and inspections.
• Implement and maintain an effective HSE performance review and improvement planning process at business unit/branch level, and facilitate and participate in country and business unit HSE reviews.
• Ensure that learning and key findings from monitoring, audits, investigations, and review processes are incorporated into performance improvement plans and communicated effectively across the country/business unit, as required.
• Identify, promote, and share HSE best practices across the country/business unit and its range of business activities.
• Perform any other HSE-related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

• Possess formal qualifications in Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as an HSE Practitioner.
• FSM certification and BizSAFE Level 2 certification.
• Possess a valid Manage Work at Height – Assessor/Manager certification.
• Knowledge and practical experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 will be an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Ministry of Manpower (MOM) regulations and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements.
• Knowledge of relevant local legislation and regulatory requirements, including WSH, SCDF, and NEA requirements, will be preferred.
