Turn Financial Data Into Business Decisions

Are you a finance professional with strong experience in FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, costing, or business partnering? If you enjoy using financial analysis to support strategic decisions and improve business performance, this opportunity offers broad exposure across both finance and business operations.

We are looking for an experienced finance professional to support financial planning, forecasting, performance analysis, costing, and strategic initiatives. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess financial implications, and provide insights that support effective decision-making.

The role will also involve strengthening financial processes, enhancing finance systems, and developing practical financial models to support business and operational planning.

Key Areas of Responsibility

• Manage and contribute to annual budgeting, financial forecasting, business planning, and performance reviewactivities.

• Analyse financial results, business trends, and key performance indicators to identify risks, opportunities, and areas requiring management attention.

• Support periodic reviews of service fees and pricing structures by conducting financial assessments and preparing relevant analysis and documentation.

• Evaluate proposed services, business cases, and strategic initiatives through financial modelling, cost-benefit analysis, and feasibility assessments.

• Develop, enhance, and maintain costing models to support operational services and improve the accuracy of financial planning.

• Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of finance, costing, and billing systems.

• Review billing-related cases and financial information to identify discrepancies and ensure data accuracy and completeness.

• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and system testing for enhancements involving finance, costing, billing, and related processes.

• Prepare financial scenarios, simulations, sensitivity analyses, and ad hoc reports to support strategic planning and policy initiatives.

• Identify opportunities to streamline finance processes, enhance reporting quality, and improve operational efficiency.

• Build strong working relationships with stakeholders across various functions and provide financial guidance to support informed business decisions.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, or a related discipline.

• Relevant experience in FP&A, financial planning, budgeting, management reporting, business partnering, costing, commercial finance, or similar finance functions.

• Exposure to the healthcare or public sector environment would be advantageous.

• Strong numerical and analytical capabilities, with the ability to convert complex financial information into clear and actionable insights.

• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

• Comfortable working with financial systems, large datasets, financial models, and process improvement initiatives.

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities independently.

• Collaborative and commercially minded, with a focus on supporting business performance and achieving practical outcomes.
