Roles & Responsibilities

Are you passionate about working with young children and creating meaningful learning experiences through the Chinese language? Join a nurturing preschool environment where you can spark curiosity, build confidence, and support children as they take their first steps in learning and development.

Your Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging and age-appropriate Chinese language lessons in accordance with the preschool curriculum.
• Plan and develop creative teaching materials, activities, and classroom resources.
• Create a warm, safe, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages children to participate, explore, and learn.
• Nurture children’s cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development through meaningful daily interactions.
• Observe, document, and track children’s learning progress and developmental milestones.
• Organise and maintain engaging learning corners and classroom resources.
• Support daily classroom routines while ensuring children’s safety, comfort, and well-being.
• Participate in centre events, enrichment programmes, and other classroom activities.
• Establish positive relationships with parents and communicate children’s learning and developmental progress effectively.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to provide a positive, enriching, and enjoyable learning experience for every child.

What We’re Looking For

• Diploma in Early Childhood Care & Education – Teaching (DECCE-T) or an equivalent recognised qualification.
• Able to conduct preschool lessons and communicate effectively in Chinese, as the role involves teaching Chinese to preschool children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about early childhood education and committed to nurturing young learners.
• Caring, patient, proactive, and a strong team player.
• Candidates with a Diploma in another discipline but without a relevant Early Childhood qualification may also be considered for an Assistant Teacher position, subject to suitability.
