Roles & Responsibilities

Job Summary
The Transport Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising the company’s daily transportation operations, including vehicle scheduling, driver deployment, route planning, vehicle maintenance coordination, and compliance with company and road safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily transport operations and driver activities.
• Plan driver schedules, vehicle assignments, and transportation routes according to operational requirements.
• Monitor driver attendance, punctuality, performance, and compliance with assigned duties.
• Coordinate the deployment and utilisation of company vehicles.
• Monitor vehicle conditions and arrange servicing, inspections, repairs, and maintenance when required.
• Ensure drivers follow company procedures, road safety requirements, and transportation regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance, and transport activities.
• Monitor fuel and other vehicle-related expenses and report irregularities to management.
• Coordinate with customers, suppliers, drivers, and internal departments regarding transportation requirements.
• Handle operational issues, delays, vehicle breakdowns, and route-related matters.
• Investigate and report traffic incidents, accidents, or other transport-related issues to management.
• Conduct driver briefings and provide guidance on safe and efficient driving practices.
• Monitor transport costs and assist management in improving operational efficiency.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly transport reports.
• Ensure relevant vehicle and driver documents are properly maintained and up to date.
• Assist management with manpower planning and transport resource allocation.
• Perform other duties assigned by management.
