Application Engineer (Technical proposals) - North - VTTO

Roles & Responsibilities

Our client is a leading provider of technical and industrial solutions serving customers across Singapore and the region. Due to business expansion, they are now recruiting an Application Engineer to support their sales and technical operations. They are located at North, easily accessible.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the sales team to develop technical proposals, solutions and quotations, ensuring customer requirements are accurately addressed.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support to customers in Singapore and across the region, including troubleshooting and solution recommendations.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities through effective use of CRM platforms and customer engagement activities.
• Work closely with internal teams to enhance customer satisfaction, resolve technical issues and improve operational processes.
• Support product marketing initiatives, exhibitions, trade shows and other customer engagement activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or ITE qualification in Engineering, preferably in Automation, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related disciplines.
• 2–3 years of experience in technical sales, application engineering or a related technical role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; CAD knowledge and experience in preparing technical proposals or quotations will be an advantage.
• Willing to travel regionally for customer visits, site support and technical assignments.
