Senior QS/Quantity Surveyor (LTA MRT project)
Roles & Responsibilities
Join a reputable A1 contractor involved in major developments across Singapore. They're currently hiring Quantity Surveyors/Senior Quantity Surveyors for a large scale MRT project. Tender and Project QS vacancies available.
What you will do
- Manage cost planning, budgeting, and quantity take-offs for infrastructure projects.
- Prepare, review, and evaluate tenders, quotations, and subcontractor proposals.
- Administer contracts and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Monitor project costs, variations, claims, and payment certifications.
- Prepare progress claims, subcontractor payments, and final accounts.
- Support procurement activities and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Track project expenditures and provide regular cost reports to management.
- Work closely with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate commercial risks.
- Assist in the resolution of contractual and commercial issues throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of project records.
What you will need
- Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Possess minimum 2 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience within the construction industry.
- Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for a Senior position.
