Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Fresh Produce Specialist to develop and manage sales within the foodservice channel, building relationships with mid to upscale establishments and collaborating with chefs and procurement teams to plan and showcase seasonal and artisanal produce.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage sales strategies to grow business within the foodservice channel, targeting mid to upscale establishments
• Build and maintain strong relationships with chefs, procurement teams, and foodservice clients to understand their needs and preferences
• Collaborate with perishables team, chefs, and procurement to plan seasonal product offerings that align with market demand and availability
• Showcase fresh produce from urban farms and artisanal sources to highlight quality and uniqueness to clients
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base and increase sales revenue
• Achieve sales targets through effective account management and customer service excellence
• Provide expert product knowledge and support to clients to enhance their purchasing decisions and satisfaction
