Commercial Sales (Carpenty)

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for a Commercial Sales Manager to drive business development and sales for our carpentry and interior fit-out solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new commercial opportunities, developing client relationships, preparing quotations and proposals, and managing projects from initial enquiry through to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the commercial carpentry and interior fit-out sector.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with main contractors, interior designers, architects, developers, project managers and corporate clients.

• Source new projects through networking, referrals, tender invitations and market research.

• Understand clients' requirements and recommend suitable carpentry, joinery and interior solutions.

• Prepare quotations, proposals and tender submissions in coordination with the project and operations teams.

• Attend site visits and client meetings to understand project requirements, site conditions and specifications.

• Follow up on quotations, tenders and proposals to secure new contracts.

• Negotiate pricing, scope and commercial terms with clients while maintaining healthy project margins.

• Manage the sales process from lead generation, quotation and negotiation through to project handover.

• Achieve agreed sales and revenue targets.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Construction, Interior Design or a related discipline preferred.

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in commercial sales, business development or project sales, preferably within carpentry, joinery, interior fit-out or construction.

• Strong network and existing relationships with main contractors, developers, interior designers, architects or commercial clients will be an advantage.
