Software Lead (Min 6 years of experience)

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Software Lead, you will lead the design and delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performing digital solutions supporting public sector transformation. You will guide a team of engineers, drive technical excellence, and work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver robust and impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor developers in delivering digital solutions.
• Design and architect scalable, high-performance fullstack systems.
• Develop and review secure, robust RESTful APIs.
• Drive secure coding practices and DevSecOps across the SDLC.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and quality assurance integration.
• Collaborate with business analysts, UI/UX designers, and infrastructure teams.
• Apply AWS/Azure best practices for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Deliver systems integrating with government authentication services such as Singpass and Corppass, while meeting public sector standards.
• Support project planning, estimation, and risk management.
• Bonus: Experience with IoT platforms, devices, and data processing.

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of hands-on software development experience, with 2–3 years in a software leadership role.
• Strong fullstack development and system design expertise.
• Proven experience in RESTful API design and development.
• Solid knowledge of secure coding and DevSecOps practices.
• Proficiency in AWS or Azure.
• Experience delivering government/public sector systems, including government authentication integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: Experience in IoT system integration and data processing.
