Assistant Project Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

Own project delivery at a specialist demolition and earthworks contractor. Report directly to the Director. Manage multiple concurrent projects across HDB, LTA, and private sector work. Suitable for candidates with 2 to 5 years of construction project management experience.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

T.A.G. Construction Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based specialist demolition, earthworks, and reinstatement contractor established in 2008. We are BCA-registered ( CW02, CR03), ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 certified, and bizSAFE Star, with 130+ completed projects across HDB, LTA, MRT, industrial, and institutional sectors.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

- Own project delivery from mobilisation through to handover across multiple concurrent projects

- Develop and manage the master programme, monitoring progress and addressing slippage early- Manage project budgets and cost control in coordination with the Quantity Surveying team

- Coordinate sub-contractors, suppliers, and internal resources to meet project milestones

- Manage project risks, changes, and issues; escalate strategic matters to the Director

Client & Stakeholder Coordination:

- Represent T.A.G. at project meetings with main contractors, consultants, and clients

- Manage day-to-day client communication and reporting

- Attend technical, coordination, and safety meetings

- Prepare monthly progress reports and project updates for the Director

Site & Compliance :

- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety

- Support the Site Supervisor with technical guidance and problem-solving

- Ensure compliance with WSH regulations, PUB Earth Control Measures, NEA disposal requirements, and BCA regulatory processes

- Review method statements, risk assessments, and permit-to-work documentation

REQUIREMENTS

- Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline

- 5 years of construction project management or site engineering experience in Singapore

- Proven ability to manage multiple projects or sub-projects simultaneously

- Working knowledge of construction programmes (e.g. Microsoft Project or similar scheduling tools)

- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documents

- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and project documentation tools

- Strong written and spoken English for client and main contractor communication

- Willingness to work at active construction sites across Singapore

- Base salary: SGD 5,800 - 8,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications
