Japanese Speaking Sales Executive (Chemical / Plastic Resins)

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Drive business growth and expand plastics resin trading activities across Southeast Asia and other international markets, including Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and India.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market presence and revenue.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and customers to support long-term business partnerships.
• Act as a representative for manufacturers by providing product knowledge and recommending suitable materials and solutions based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate closely with internal team members to ensure smooth logistics and operational processes.
• Manage credit limits and monitor Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to ensure timely settlement.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate shipping schedules and delivery arrangements.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of sales experience.
• Proficiency in Japanese language for liaising with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
• Technical knowledge of chemicals and/or plastic resins is an added advantage.
• Strong initiative, self-motivation, and willingness to learn.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently for business purposes.
• Experience in both external and internal audit is an added advantage.
