Roles & Responsibilities

About the role

This role is responsible for the production of trial batches for P&G for: (1) Hair Care Products, (2) Skin Care Products, (3) Home Care Products and (4) any other products as mutually agreed from time to time. The role operates within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment and requires working from height (platform), heavy lifting (<20kgs), handling hot water/fluids (80°C), wearing PPE and maintaining safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Check the booking schedule for batch making in advance and support the batch making operation.

• Conduct, verify and record daily calibration of weighing devices within the pilot plant according to P&G standards.

• Wear relevant and necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

• Set-up the relevant equipment to be ready for use prior to making batches according to SOP and Batch Production Record provided by P&G.

• Clean equipment and perform sanitization of equipment, including ancillary items when required and requested.

• Receive Raw Materials (RM) from Pre-weigh and verify relevance and accuracy of materials including GCAS, expiry date and quantities, against Batch Production Record.

• Take note of the risk factor of each RM via the label containing the Global Harmonization System (GHS) symbols and take the necessary safety precautions in accordance to P&G requirement.

• Execute equipment operation and RM addition following production instructions either supervised by researchers or independently where authorized to do so.

• Carry out completion procedures and equipment shut down.

• Collect FP samples, label and perform measurements such as pH and rheology.

About you

• Nitech in any discipline and above (essential)

• Some experience in Process Laboratory, Process Manufacturing, Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing (preferred)

• Able to communicate in English both in written form and verbally.

• Basic computer literacy with competency in Microsoft Office suite.

• Able to operate simple machinery and possess basic understanding of flowchart or workflow.

• Attention to details – follows procedure accurately, carefully and completes report or other documents accurately.

• Communication – able to express clearly, to listen and understand effectively (instruction & feedback).
