Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Manager to lead technical and engineering aspects of civil and structural projects, ensuring smooth site operations, quality compliance, and timely project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all technical and engineering activities on-site to ensure smooth execution of civil and structural works
- Monitor project progress and coordinate site activities to resolve technical or operational issues promptly
- Prepare accurate and timely project status reports for internal management and external stakeholders
- Coordinate structural details and design implementation to align with project objectives and specifications
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, safety regulations, statutory requirements, and contractual obligations
- Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, clients, and project teams to facilitate effective communication and coordination
- Respond effectively to challenges in a fast-paced and dynamic construction environment while maintaining project timelines and quality
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
- Professional recognition by the Professional Engineers Board Singapore (PEB) or Institution of Engineers Singapore (IES)
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in civil or structural site engineering
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and AutoCAD
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Strong leadership and project coordination capabilities
- Familiarity with local construction regulations and industry practices in Singapore
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills
