Senior/Archi Coordinator (Technical Team)

Roles & Responsibilities

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Senior/Architectural Coordinator to join our technical team. This role will support design coordination, site execution, and technical documentation to ensure successful project delivery.

Work location: near to Dover

Key Responsibilities

Design & Technical Coordination

• Review and coordinate architectural drawings, shop drawings, and specifications
• Identify design conflicts and liaise with consultants and contractors to resolve issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with project design intent, specifications, and construction standards

Project Support

• Monitor progress of architectural works on-site and report any deviations or issues
• Assist in the preparation of method statements, technical reports, and work schedules
• Support site inspections and quality control activities to ensure workmanship standards are met

Documentation & Records

• Maintain proper records of drawings, revisions, and approvals
• Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and project handover documentation
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, regulations, and authority requirements

Team Collaboration

• Coordinate closely with MEP, structural, and other project disciplines
• Attend coordination meetings and provide technical input when required
• Support senior architectural staff in design optimization and value engineering initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture or a related field
• At least 4 years of relevant experience in construction or architectural coordination
• Good understanding of architectural drawings, specifications, and construction methods
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with BIM and coordination tools will be an advantage
• Candidates with extensive experience and a proven track record will be considered for a Senior position.
