Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare walls, ceilings, concrete, metal and other construction surfaces for painting by cleaning, scraping and sanding.
• Apply primer, paint, protective coatings and finishing materials using brushes, rollers or spray equipment.
• Mix and prepare paints, thinners and other coating materials according to project requirements.
• Repair minor cracks, holes and surface imperfections before painting.
• Carry out internal and external painting works at construction sites.
• Perform touch-up and repainting works to ensure proper coverage and finishing quality.
• Use and maintain painting tools, equipment and materials in proper working condition.
• Follow site safety requirements, Risk Assessment, Safe Work Procedures and use the required PPE.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping at the work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in painting works.
• Physically fit and able to work in a construction site environment.
• Able to read construction drawings and follow work instructions.
• Familiar with workplace safety practices.
• Willing to work outdoors and in a team environment.

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, Sundays, and Public Holidays when required by project schedules and operational needs.
• Shift work and night work may be required depending on site requirements.
