Job Summary:

Support the upkeep and operational reliability of retail outlets and office facilities through effective maintenance, safety compliance, and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain retail outlets and office facilities to ensure a safe, functional, and well-presented environment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for building systems, equipment, and facilities.
• Troubleshoot and coordinate repairs for electrical, air-conditioning, plumbing, and other facility-related issues.
• Conduct inspections and upkeep of fixtures, fittings, and facility assets.
• Investigate equipment breakdowns and faults to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
• Oversee workplace safety activities and ensure compliance with risk assessment and control measures.
• Source, manage, and supervise contractors and service providers to ensure maintenance works meet quality, safety, and operational requirements.
• Support site measurements and coordinate installation works for LED lighting panels, display panels, point-of-purchase materials, and in-store promotional displays.
• Process and submit maintenance-related purchase requests, service payments, and required approvals.

Requirements:

• At least 1 to 2 years of relevant facilities maintenance experience within office and/or retail environments.
• Experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of building systems and facilities.
• Ability to troubleshoot facility-related issues and coordinate repair works effectively.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
• High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Valid Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certification is an added advantage.
• Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) related certifications are an added advantage.
• CompTIA, Microsoft, or other relevant technical certifications are an added advantage.
