SENIOR COOK

Roles & Responsibilities

· Prepare and cook a variety of dishes accordingto established recipes and restaurant standards.

· Ensure food is prepared and served in a timelymanner while maintaining quality and consistency.

· Oversee daily kitchen operations and coordinatefood preparation activities.

· Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff in foodpreparation and cooking procedures.

· Monitor food quality, portion control, andpresentation standards.

· Ensure proper storage, handling, and stockrotation of food ingredients.

· Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of kitchenequipment, workstations, and food preparation areas.

· Monitor inventory levels and assist withordering kitchen supplies and ingredients.

· Ensure compliance with food safety regulations,hygiene standards, and workplace safety requirements.

· Perform other kitchen-related duties as assignedby management.

Requirements

· Relevant experience in food preparation andcooking within a restaurant environment.

· Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, andkitchen sanitation practices.

· Ability to prepare a variety of dishes whilemaintaining quality and consistency.

· Experience in supervising or guiding kitchenstaff is an advantage.

· Able to work efficiently in a fast-pacedenvironment.

· Good organizational and time management skills.

· Ability to work independently as well as in ateam.

· Responsible, reliable, and committed tomaintaining high food quality standards.

· Willing to work shifts, weekends, and publicholidays when required.
