Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Work with senior developer/consultant to develop technical solutions for user issues, including updates and API integrations to PeopleSoft applications, Peoplecode, SQL scripts or other scripts to resolve data issues, updates or amendments to workflow.
• Assist to resolve performance issues in processes by identifying bottlenecks and developing remediation.
• Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain PeopleSoft components such as WebLogic, Tuxedo, Process Scheduler, Integration Broker, Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) and middleware running on Linux and Windows infrastructure.
• Perform PeopleSoft applications bundle patch and PeopleTools upgrade
• Monitor the PeopleSoft applications for performance issues, resource utilization, and system health
• Support, bug fixes, addressing vulnerability issues/fixes of existing systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to the PeopleSoft environment which include networks, software, hardware, and operating systems;
• Assist to develop and implement backup and recovery strategies for PeopleSoft databases and applications
• Maintain documentation related to the PeopleSoft environment, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guide and keep documentation up-to-date with any changes or enhancements.
• Prepare projects documentation for the PeopleSoft support team to migrate project to production. Comply with requirement procedures and policies, in particular those on security and updates on or migrations to Production systems.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or relevant certification courses.
• 3 to 6 years’ experience as PeopleSoft Developer and Administrator on PeopleSoft version 9.x
• Proficient in People Tools 8.5x and PowerShell script.
• Proficient in PeopleCode, including application packages and workflow
• Knowledge of security components in Peoplesoft, with ability to setup or modify security components as required
• Knowledge of problem-solving technical issues and supporting a non- technical user group
• Knowledge of developing technical solutions for listed modules in both PeopleSoft Financials and HCM.
• Experience of approval workflow – creating new complex workflows, use of approval workflow engines
• Experience of designing integration broker messages and component interfaces and other integration methods including preferably, solution design for integration with Cloud SaaS solutions.
• Experience in Microsoft SQL database and Azure Cloud is an added advantage
• Strong technical and analytical skills, meticulous and organized
