Leadership and Problem Solving
The ability to inspire and motivate the team through clear and empathetic communication and leading by example to meet store targets; to possess knowledge and experience to develop the team and promote its professional growth through continuous support and mentorship; to manage and resolve disputes in a constructive manner; to make strategic hiring decisions that strengthen the store team to achieve greater goals.
Sales Performance and Customer Experience Management
Knowledge and experience of analysis and proper interpretation of sales data, store KPIs, and store processes in order to achieve store sales targets. The ability to monitor store performance metrics and to analyze this information to find solutions for exceeding sales targets. Retail financial acumen. Solid knowledge of customer experience and impact of service standards on the store sales and its alignment with brand values.
Operational Efficiency
The ability to set clear objectives both individual and collective, identify necessary resources as required to achieve these goals. The ability to interpret and diagnose the store performance as based on controllable operational KPI’s (including but not limited to CR, UPT, ATV), Solid experience of weighting potential risks and benefits prior to making decision, ensuring that their choices support the organization’s overall strategy. Prioritizing of tasks, resources, effective delegation of responsibilities, and managing staff scheduling to maximize team and store productivity via meeting deadlines and achieving set sales targets, and the proper inventory management. The ability to foster a culture of trust, collaboration, and alignment, ensuring everyone is working towards the same objectives.
Agility/Adaptability
The capability to swiftly adapt to changes, including new policies, procedures, manuals, and strategies; adeptly navigate environmental, political, and social challenges impacting store operations and human resource management; learn and implement new technologies, software solutions, and approaches; make rapid, well-informed decisions through comprehensive analysis; prioritize effectively while multitasking; resolve problems promptly; and maintain resilience under pressure.
Technical Proficiency
Confident PC user, solid knowledge of reporting tools (e.g. BI) and experience with operating POS systems.
Experience
Experience in the role: Minimum of 2 years of management experience in a focused, customer service oriented retail environment (preferably apparel/footwear), with a result-driven track record.
