Steel Reinforcement Worker

Roles & Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• Cut, bend, fabricate, and install reinforcing steel bars (rebar) according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Assemble and secure steel reinforcement for concrete structures.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and bar bending schedules.
• Operate hand tools and equipment for rebar fabrication and installation.
• Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain good housekeeping and support timely completion of projects.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Site Supervisor.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in reinforcing steel/rebar works.
• Physically fit and able to work in a construction site environment.
• Able to read construction drawings and follow work instructions.
• Familiar with workplace safety practices.
• Willing to work outdoors and in a team environment.

Working Hours

• Monday to Saturday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, Sundays, and Public Holidays when required by project schedules and operational needs.
• Shift work and night work may be required depending on site requirements.
