Senior / Procurement Specialist
Roles & Responsibilities
Job Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day procurement activities, including sourcing, quotations, purchase orders and deliveries.
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality and service standards.
- Negotiate with suppliers on pricing, payment terms and contractual agreements.
- Work closely with internal departments to understand and fulfil their procurement requirements.
- Manage supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.
- Review purchasing requests and ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts and supplier information.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and improvements in procurement processes.
- Support procurement projects and other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of relevant procurement or purchasing experience.
- Experience in education, school, hospitality, facilities or service-related industries will be an advantage.
- Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Good analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
