Contract Manager_Construction New Hospital_$10.5k Basic +VB_A1 Main Contractor_East area

Roles & Responsibilities

• Up to $10,500 Basic + Bonus!

• Permanent position/ 5 workdays

• New Hospital project in the East area.

• Experience in Construction Data center or Hospital projects is mandatory.

• Our client is an MNC & Leading A1 Main contractor!

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage the site Contracts and Commercial team, including Quantity Surveyors.

• Work closely with the Project Director and Project Manager to align contractual and commercial strategies with project requirements.

• Provide advice on contractual, procurement, commercial, variation and claims matters.

• Coordinate with clients, consultants, authorities, subcontractors and suppliers on contractual and commercial issues.

• Develop and implement contract management and commercial strategies for the project.

• Prepare and monitor procurement schedules in line with the overall construction programme.

• Ensure subcontract and supplier awards are completed according to approved timelines.

• Review contract documents and correspondence for contractual risks and implications.

• Interpret contractual clauses and prepare formal contractual correspondence and notices.

• Prepare and review subcontract agreements, purchase agreements and related commercial documentation.

• Prepare cost estimates, forecasts and project cash flow.

• Identify and manage variation works and variation orders.

• Identify and manage contractual claims and Extension of Time (EOT) matters.

• Liaise with consultants and Quantity Surveyors on progress payments, claims and variations.

• Review and assess subcontractor monthly payments and final accounts.

• Manage main contract progress claims and final account settlement.

• Monitor subcontractor final costs and overall project commercial exposure.

• Lead monthly commercial activities, including payment certifications, claims and cost reporting.

• Ensure contractual, procurement and commercial activities comply with relevant company policies, regulatory requirements and safety standards.

• Maintain proper governance, professionalism and integrity within the Contracts and Commercial team.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a relevant field

• Experience in Construction Hospital projects is mandatory.
