Bartender / Front of House (Junior)

Roles & Responsibilities

We're hiring a Junior Bartender/ Front Of House to join our small team at our casual restaurant in Jalan Besar.

The role is great for someone who enjoys bar culture, craft beer, cocktails, wines, food and most importantly, delivering a great customer experience.

Perhaps you are a fresh out of school, or retired but hoping to keep yourself active physically, mentally and socially. Prior F&B experience is not required for this role.

What You’ll Help With

FOH & Bar Operations

• Oversee FOH and bar operations
• Prepare mise-en-place
• Prepare and serve beverages (alcoholic and non)
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies

Customer Engagement & Experience

• Deliver an engaging and memorable experience for guests
• Provide food & drink recommendations
• Address guest concerns

Inventory & Transactions

• Monitor stock levels and coordinate supplies orders.
• Ensure accurate transactions on POS, payments and reporting

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift kegs (up to 30L kegs) required
• Fluent in both written and spoken English

Work Schedule

• 5-day work week including weekends and Public Holidays (with leave-in-lieu entitlement)
• Shorter work week can be discussed (great for retirees who are looking to strike a balance between retirement and staying active)
