Technical/Technology Recruiter - 3 to 6 months Temp

Roles & Responsibilities

My client, a fast-growing technology company undergoing significant expansion. As the business scales, they are seeking an experienced technology hiring professional to support our hiring efforts by conducting in-depth technical interviews and helping assess the quality of engineering talent joining the organization.

The Role

This position is ideal for someone with a strong technology background and hands-on experience hiring technical talent. Rather than focusing on sourcing or recruitment coordination, you will act as a technical hiring representative, partnering with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers to evaluate candidates throughout the interview process.

You will play a critical role in assessing technical competencies, identifying strengths and gaps, and providing structured hiring recommendations to support hiring decisions. Experience with such hiring activities:-

Software Engineering and Application Development

AI / Machine Learning and Data-related roles

Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps

Platform and Systems Engineering

Technology Architecture

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct first-round and in-depth technical interviews for engineering and technology candidates.
• Review technical assessment results and evaluate candidate performance against role requirements.
• Probe candidates on their technical foundations, problem-solving abilities, system design knowledge, and practical experience.
• Identify technical strengths, development areas, and potential risks during the interview process.
• Prepare structured interview reports and hiring recommendations for stakeholders.
• Participate in virtual and face-to-face interviews alongside hiring managers when required.
• Serve as a professional representative of the company throughout all candidate interactions.
• Provide input on candidate suitability, team fit, and overall hiring decisions.
• Support hiring ramp-up initiatives across multiple technology positions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in technology recruitment, technical interviewing, engineering leadership, technical program management, or a related technology hiring function.
• Strong understanding of software engineering, product development, cloud technologies, or modern technology stacks.
• Demonstrated ability to assess technical talent across different levels of seniority.
• Experience reviewing technical assessments and translating results into meaningful hiring recommendations.
• Strong interviewing, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct professional, consultative, and technically credible interviews.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with multiple concurrent hiring requirements.
