Product Engineer (NPD, OEM) – 5 Days | East | Sanitary Ware Product [R22107578]

Roles & Responsibilities

Summary Benefits:

• Basic Up to $6000

• 5 Working Days, Office Hours

• Location: Changi Business Park

• 14 days AL, AWS + VB

Responsibilities:

• Manage products from development and sampling through production and post-installation.

• Develop and improve OEM products with suppliers, including product specifications, drawings and samples.

• Coordinate product sampling, testing and approval with suppliers and internal teams.

• Establish QC standards, inspection criteria, checklists and acceptable tolerances.

• Review QC reports and support pre-shipment inspection and batch release.

• Monitor supplier performance and resolve technical or quality issues.

• Investigate product defects, conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.

• Analyse field issues and feedback from customers and technicians to drive product improvements.

• Maintain product documentation including specifications, drawings, BOMs and QC standards.

• Track NPD projects, sample progress and issue resolution to support timely product launches.

• Drive component standardisation and improvements in product quality, cost and efficiency.

• Provide technical support to internal teams during and after product launch.
  

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Product Development, Quality Management or related discipline.

• Experience in product development, NPD, OEM/ODM, QC or supplier management has added advantage.

• Experience working with suppliers on product specifications, sampling, quality issues and corrective actions.

• Good knowledge of QC processes, inspection methods and root cause analysis.

• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, specifications and BOMs.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.

• Able to balance product quality, cost and performance.

• Good project coordination and communication skills.

• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
