Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and review of mechanical engineering works from concept development through detailed design stages.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant local codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Perform engineering analysis and provide technical guidance and solutions to project teams and stakeholders.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and overall project execution.
• Coordinate and liaise with multidisciplinary stakeholders, including civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, and electrical teams.
• Prepare technical specifications, tender documents, and project-related documentation.
• Oversee design management and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and external consultants.
• Mentor, guide, and support engineers and designers in their professional development.
• Monitor project progress to ensure completion within established schedules and budgets.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Experience in both mechanical engineering design and construction/project management.
• Strong knowledge of local engineering codes, regulations, and authority requirements.
• Proficiency in engineering analysis and the ability to provide technical advice and solutions.
• Experience in project planning, budgeting, contract administration, and stakeholder management.
• Proficient in engineering analysis software, BIM software, CFD simulation tools, and other mechanical/fire engineering applications.
• Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multidisciplinary project teams effectively.
