Role Summary
As a Retail Sales Associate / Health-Tech Specialist, you are the face of BUZUD’s medical technology showroom. Going beyond standard transactions, you will deliver a consultative sales experience by conducting live product demonstrations, assisting with mobile app onboarding, and helping customers find tailored home healthcare and wellness solutions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Consultative Sales & Product Demonstrations
Greet walk-in visitors, seniors, and caregivers, actively listening to understand their personal health and wellness needs.
Conduct live, engaging product demonstrations (e.g., explaining Continuous Glucose Monitors (CGM), ECG smart rings, blood pressure monitors, and oxygen concentrators).
Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets by proactively cross-selling and upselling complementary health accessories or packages.
2. Tech Support & Customer Onboarding
Assist customers with initial device setup, app pairing, bluetooth calibration, and basic technical troubleshooting.
Patiently guide non-technical users and elderly clients on how to read health metrics and navigate health applications.
Handle after-sales inquiries, product warranties, exchanges, and equipment rental setups.
3. Showroom Operations & Inventory
Process cash and cashless POS transactions accurately.
Maintain an immaculate, high-end showroom floor, ensuring all interactive display units are fully charged, clean, and functional.
Monitor stock levels on the retail floor, assist in stockroom replenishment, and participate in regular inventory stock takes.
Log customer feedback and recurring technical issues into the CRM system to inform management of product trends.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: GCE 'O' Level, NITEC, Higher NITEC, or Diploma.
Experience: 1 to 3 years of experience in retail sales, customer service, or hospitality. Experience in medical devices, consumer electronics, or healthcare/wellness retail is a strong advantage.
Tech Savviness: High comfort level operating and explaining mobile apps and smart health hardware.
Soft Skills: Strong empathy, active listening, and exceptional patience—especially when assisting elderly customers.
Work Schedule: Willingness to work retail hours, including weekends and rotational shifts.
