Roles & Responsibilities

JOW Architects is a boutique architectural and interior design studio in Singapore, looking for an Architectural Assistant who is attentive to details, has deep passion for design and has the drive to see projects through from concept to handover.

What you'll do:

• Support the team on architectural and interior projects, from concept design through design development and detailed design.
• Produce 2D and 3D drawings, construction details, and tender documents and drawings.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors and vendors, and check shop drawings against design intent.
• Attend design coordination and technical meetings on site on behalf of the studio.
• Prepare clear, well-organised meeting minutes and project records.
• Manage your time across 2–3 houses and/or interior projects running at different stages.

What we're looking for:

• Diploma or degree in Architecture (Min RIBA Part 1) or Interior Design.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; site experience during the construction stage is a strong plus.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop and PowerPoint; familiarity with rendering software is a bonus.
• Passionate about design with a keen eye for detail and proportion, and an interest in materials and construction.
• Clear written and verbal communication, and the confidence to speak with consultants and contractors.
• Able to work independently while knowing when to check in.
