Director -Investigations Due Diligence & Fraud Asia
Global Investigations Firm Singapore

A global investigations firm is seeking an Asia leader to join its investigations due diligence and fraud practice. This role is designed for experienced advisory professionals who bring credibility with senior clients and a track record of leading complex engagements but who are looking to operate in a more focused specialist environment.

The appointment has responsibility spanning case leadership client engagement and mentoring of junior staff.

The Role

The Director will lead and oversee matters including:

Complex pre-transaction and strategic due diligence
Fraud misconduct and integrity investigations
Disputes and litigation-support assignments
High-risk market entry and counterparty assessments

Engagements are typically cross-border time-sensitive and judgment-driven requiring discretion independence of thought and the ability to operate without heavy institutional scaffolding.

Candidate Profile

This role is well suited to professionals with 12-15 years experience currently or recently operating in:

Big 4 forensic disputes investigations or risk advisory practices
Large consulting or accounting firms with exposure to sensitive matters
Senior advisory or research-led roles supporting boards GCs or investment committees

Ideal candidates will bring:

Proven experience leading investigations or diligence engagements end-to-end
Strong client-facing presence with the ability to advise at GC Board or IC level
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including report sign-off
Sound commercial judgement and an understanding of risk reputation and enforcement dynamics

You do not need to have spent your career in a pure investigations firm. Candidates transitioning from broader advisory environments are actively encouraged.
