Roles & Responsibilities

Position Overview :  Our R&D team is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Advanced Motion Control (ACT) department as a Test Equipment Engineer. This role is pivotal in supporting overall test operations, encompassing the development of frameworks for monitoring and enhancing software quality, system performance, and stability. The successful candidate will develop engineering solutions, lead continuous improvement initiatives related to tester utilization, and support the setup and qualification of new test equipment. Additionally, the role involves coaching and training after-sales team members to enhance their engineering capabilities and foster personal and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities :

Equipment Availability and Efficiency Enhancement :

• Drive proactive improvements in test equipment stability through the application of FMEA, Potential Problem Analysis, auto test design improvements, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers on-site to achieve cost-effective solutions that sustain equipment availability and minimize downtime.
• Monitor key equipment performance metrics and generate reports for management review.
• Conduct engineering evaluations to enhance equipment efficiency, utilization, and capability.
• Automate data collection from test equipment and perform assessments to minimize equipment-induced yield losses.
