Kitchen Assistant

Job Responsibilities

Assist the cook with daily food preparation such as washing, cutting, and chopping fruits and vegetables.

Receive and unpack food deliveries, and transfer ingredients to the kitchen as needed.

Prepare simple dishes like soups and sauces under supervision.

Handle and process raw ingredients, including seafood and meats.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchen areas, including equipment, walls, and floors.

Dispose of kitchen waste properly and keep the trash area tidy.

Monitor and replenish kitchen stock and supplies when necessary.

Wash and store utensils and kitchen tools properly.

Support the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Record food wastage and report to supervisor.

Take care of and maintain kitchen equipment.

Requirements

Some experience in kitchen or F&B operations preferred (training provided).

Able to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Team player with a positive attitude.

Basic communication skills in English.

Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices is a plus.
