Roles & Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Account Executive sells solutions, develops new business, and builds good client and / or prospect relationships within an assigned territory. The Account Executive executes full sales cycles, meets individual and annual sales goals, participates in relevant marketing events, prepares performance reports, and develops knowledge of assigned products and industry best practices.
Essential Responsibilities
- Executes full sales cycles, including lead-generation; discovery and goal setting; pricing, packaging, and positioning; RFP management; contract negotiating; and closing.
- Develops and utilizes knowledge of products, industry, and competition to present value propositions to prospects and / or clients, develop a sufficient pipeline, and meet individual sales goals.
- Researches, calls, and qualifies each account in the assigned territory.
- Identifies key decision-makers; develops business relationships and a deep understanding of the client’s and / or prospect’s business needs.
- Conducts in-person and / or virtual meetings with executive-level leadership to deliver executive reviews and product demonstrations at the frequency and standard required to successfully complete sales cycles.
- Utilizes internal CRM diligently, recording all client and / or prospect activities, sales opportunities, and forecasts per training guidelines.
- Participates in marketing events to promote client's Systems, products, and services.
- Generates and reviews individual account, pipeline, and performance reports; meets regularly with management to review sales strategy.
- Completes annual certifications for assigned products per training guidelines.
- Proficiently demonstrates product and presents solutions to clients and / or prospects.
Education / Qualifications / Experience
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceThree plus (3+) years of successful sales experience in the technology or software industrySolid understanding of sales cycle management principles, including lead generation; discovery and qualification; pricing, packaging, and positioning; proposal development; contract negotiation; and closureExperience using Client Relationship Management (CRM) tools to track and manage prospect and client activityEducation / Qualifications / Experience
Industry experience in property managementKnowledge of accounting principlesRequired Skills / Abilities
