Roles & Responsibilities
Safety Officer / Eco
- Formulate and develop Company’s safety policy and procedures
- Assist and enforce sites to implement site health and safety plans
- Perform health and safety audits on sites
- Conduct periodic health and safety training for site personnel
- Maintain Company's health and safety statistics and records
- Liaise with Government Agencies on health and safety issues, application of factory permit and other safety statutory requirements for compliance by sites
- Investigate all accidents which occur and recommend appropriate health & safety measures to prevent their occurrence
- Assist Senior Project Manager / Project Manager on all site safety matters
- Ensure the Occupational Health Safety management programme are effectively implemented and maintained
- Conduct and plan safety training awareness programme
Job Requirements :
Diploma / Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 5 years relevant working experience in construction industryPossess a valid registration with MOM as Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)Independent with good communication skillsPossess ECO Certificate (NEA)Familiar with Government Regulations relating to Occupational Safety, Health and EnvironmentalCertificate in WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health level CHDB Project Experience requiredTell employers what skills you have
