Job Description

We are seeking a driven and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Maintenance Renewal Sales Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing renewals across multiple technology domains, including Network, Network Security, Cloud, Systems & Storage and Cybersecurity. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure continuity of service, expand business opportunities through competitive takeouts, and achieve revenue targets through various maintenance packages and managed services renewals.

You will play a leading role in shaping the renewal strategy, driving contract negotiations, identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and ensuring high customer satisfaction throughout the renewal lifecycle. You will also educate customers on the value of our solutions and services, ensuring they understand the benefits of renewing and expanding their engagement with our offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute renewal strategies for maintenance and managed services across multiple technology domains.
  • Identify and qualify renewal opportunities, ensuring timely engagement with customers for ongoing contract and service continuity.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, decision-makers, and influencers to facilitate smooth renewals.
  • Communicate clearly the value of our solutions and services, ensuring customers fully understand the benefits and ROI of renewing with us.
  • Lead new logo maintenance competitive take outs by positioning our maintenance and managed services capabilities.
  • Prepare, present and explain compelling proposals to customers that demonstrate our expertise, proven processes, and alignment with the customer’s business requirements.
  • Manage the commercial aspects of renewals, including pricing strategies, contract negotiations, and the management of contractual obligations.
  • Negotiate effectively with customers to secure favorable terms while ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining profitable margins.
  • Identify and drive additional revenue by positioning higher-value services (e.g., enhanced support, premium SLAs, managed security services) and expansions aligned with customer business goals.
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline of renewal opportunities, track key metrics and provide timely forecasts to management.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by monitoring service quality, resolving issues promptly, and gathering feedback for continuous improvement.
  • Champion the customer’s perspective in internal discussions to drive enhancements in products, processes, and support services.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 8 years of proven experience in renewal sales, account management, or business development within the Telecommunications, IT, or Managed Services industry.
  • Track record in achieving or exceeding revenue targets, managing complex contracts, and negotiating renewals.
  • Understanding of key technology domains : Network, Network-Security, Cloud, Systems & Storage and Cybersecurity
  • Familiarity with managed services offerings and maintenance / support models.
  • Professional certifications in ITIL, Security, or specific technology vendors (e.g., Cisco, Palo Alto, AWS, Microsoft) are preferred.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to articulate value propositions and close deals.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, including C-level executives.
  • Adept at navigating complex negotiations, identifying win-win solutions, and resolving customer issues.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and build strong internal and external relationships.
  • High degree of initiative, integrity, and accountability.
