Roles & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in basic food prep, such as peeling, chopping, and washing ingredients.
• Measure and prepare ingredients as instructed by chefs.
• Help with plating and garnishing dishes.
• Clean and sanitize workstations, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and cutlery.
• Take out trash and recycling regularly.
• Maintain hygiene standards by health and safety regulations.
• Unpack and store deliveries properly.
• Monitor inventory levels of kitchen supplies and report shortages.
• Ensure food items are correctly labeled and stored to avoid waste.
• Follow the directions of the Head Chef and kitchen team.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down kitchen stations.
• Comply with health and safety procedures at all times.
• Handle food safely to prevent cross-contamination.
