Roles & Responsibilities
ROLE
- The primary responsibility for the role is to initiate contact with potential and existing customers to generate and qualify sales leads, promote the company’s entire suite of services and “products / supply chain solutions“ and identify sales opportunities. The task is to convert these leads or opportunities into bankable sales revenue with acceptable levels of margins (to be defined by company).
- The role holder is responsible for growing net new business and new pipeline. The incumbent must have a deep understanding of market & competition to develop appropriate winning sales strategies and apply the sales and solutions expertise, in conjunction with in-house subject matter experts. Most importantly - have a high conversion efficiency of sales pipeline.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, implement sales strategies and deliver / help deliver planned sales goals.Participate / Initiate sales objectives / targets by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new clients.Manage sourcing of customers. Build and maintain relationships with customers and assist and direct team members in sourcing and growing customer base.Provide excellent service and maintenance of current customers, including analysis of current lanes to assure we are competitive.Monthly financial analysis including determining overall success of current customer profiles in terms of revenue and profit.Determine current rates offered by competitors.Achieve satisfactory profit / loss ratio and market share in relation to pre-set standards, industry and economic trends including sales and margin goals.Overseeing the activities and the performance of the Sales function.Prepare report if needed;Perform other jobs related to sales function as assignedJOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Degree in Business / Marketing / Logistics or equivalent;Minimum 5 years of experience in regional sales preferably in the Asia Pacific Region;Ideally from logistics industry or an industry / category where logistics is a vital part of the business.Superlative leadership and interpersonal skills.Exemplary sales hunting & KAM capabilities.Above average learning skills.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
